After doing "write erase" and reboot, Cisco Nexus 5500 will fail to rollback even to its previously saved configuration files of checkpoints!
A friend told me, after the "write erase" and reboot, copy the checkpoint file to running configuration first, and then rollbacks will be successful. It worked for me, although I do not know why! The error won't show up again even with any further rollbacks!
My NX-OS version is "version 5.1(3)N2(1)".
